A lot of different periods and locations around the world.
A challenge for style, languages and cultures.
Dressing for the shooting in Italy, packaging and banner options, some props.
This Tv Series is Steven Zaillian’s vision of “The Talented Mr. Ripley” by Patricia Highsmith. A massive graphic effort for the sublime set decoration by Alessandra Querzola and the delicate touch of the production designer David Gropman in a trip through Italy between 50’s and 60’s.
Digitally painted floors and stained glass windows in a dark New York during the late 19th century.
This Tv Series is based on the satirical war novel by American author Joseph Heller and is set in an American military base in Italy during the last year of WWII.
Huge maps, handpainted wood signs in cooperation with resourceful painters, vinyl nose art applied on original airplanes.
An adventure started in London across Hong Kong to reach the mysterious Yamatai Island somewhere off the coast of Japan. A mix of modern up-to-date city design combined with 3000 years of Japanese history and myths.
The story is set during WWII in Morocco, France and London. This project allowed me to dive in the huge history archives in London to have a touch of that period style and design.
A lot of maps, recon photos, posters and detailed prop documents and photos in a trustful reproduction of the period by Gary Freeman, production designer and Raffaella Giovannetti, set decorator.
This is definitely the craziest film I’ve done so far. A great team work lead by the hilarious visionary mind of Jeff Mann for the second chapter of Derek Zoolander’s fashion story.
Shop and street signage beside interior design elements, hotels and a book fair to tell three moving stories in the cities of Rome, Paris and New York. The movie was entirely shooted in Rome and directed by Paul Haggis. Thanks to Laurence Bennett, a remarkable production designer, for this beautiful memory.
